Our passion for the Ford Mustang began long before we ever owned one. As kids, they were impossible to ignore—big, loud, and unmistakable every time one rumbled down the road. Like many enthusiasts, it started with Hot Wheels and posters on the bedroom wall. Eventually, the dream became reality, and the toys simply got bigger.

The introduction of independent rear suspension in 2015 ushered the Mustang into a new era. While there have always been exceptional Mustangs throughout history, the S550 platform changed the way people viewed the car. It became a true world-class performance machine. Then came the Shelby GT350, a car that reignited our passion unlike anything else in the modern era. A naturally aspirated, flat-plane crank 5.2-liter V8 revving beyond 8,000 RPM paired with a six-speed manual transmission—it was an experience that reminded us why we fell in love with driving in the first place. We thought it couldn’t get any better, but Ford continued to raise the bar with the legendary GT500, the Mach 1, the Dark Horse, and now the world-beating Mustang GTD—with more exciting chapters still to come.

Mustang Select was born from our appreciation for these cars and the community that surrounds them. Having owned and experienced nearly every variation of the modern Mustang—from the S550 platform to today’s S650—we wanted to create more than just another online parts store.
